November 2024 Update!!

We started the month of November off right with some communion with our small groups and I was also able to serve them by washing their feet! It was such a cool moment that moved the men in the group. I had the pleasure of competing in a crossfit competition with the 1040 crossfit gym in Potchefstroom! It is ran by people who are passionate about bringing Bibles to the hardest to reach places by training their bodies to be able to reach these hard to reach places. On November 5th, we had a one and a half hour prayer set dedicated to praying for America and the upcoming election. It was so cool to see the different cultures and ethnicities coming together from literally all over the world to pray for the Lord to move on behalf of America and heal our land! A cool testimony from this month comes from an encounter I had with a witch doctor! After speaking with her for a brief time she had specifically asked me to pray for her store. I assumed she wanted me to pray for prosperity but I intentionally prayed strategically for it to shut down. I prayed that the Lord would intervene and that the people who worked there would know that the Lord has dominion over the street of Wandelaan! Three weeks pass on from that moment and some of my firends returned to me and told me the great news! They told me that they had completely ceased doing witch practices because it wasn't bringing in enough money. So it is an electronics store now! What a cool testimony of the faithfulness of God. Even when you don't see immediate results do not be discouraged. Being surrounded by a community of uplifting christians has been so amazing. The evangelism has been o popping off! We are seeing fruit left and right. God is on the move in South Africa! The Kona crew and myself had a 12 hour long prayer burn where we worshipped, soaked, and prayed over the country of Africa and the upcoming DTS. I had the pleasure of going on a short 4 day outreach to East London, South Africa. It was an amazing 4 days that were packed full of ministry. We were able to do township ministry where I got to see 5 people come to know the Lord!! We also got to do ministry in the red light district which was super exciting to fight against the lies that are coming agaisnt the women. I was able to share a teaching with the youth on David and Goliath as well during our time in East London. We really sought to activate young people in their missional callings! About 3-5 people accpeted the call to go to the nations that night! We also got to go to anorphanage for a short time where I got to teach the children the 5 finger gospel. The 5 finger gospel is a tool we use to easily remember the gospel. During this month I was asked to join the staff crew officially at YWAM Kona for two years! I am so excited to. continue this journey with the Lord! Until next time keep following the Leader!
